Fiona reconstructs the notion of place through photography, collage, poetry, and sculpture made from transformed objects. Her research-based approach responds to the idiosyncrasies of spaces and her ‘quest for fugitive essence’, illuminating qualities that often go unnoticed. With a background in health, Fiona applies clinical precision to manipulating reflective materials, creating evolving, interactive works. Prestigious residencies in Venice, Oxford, and California have shaped her practice. Always experimenting, she is currently enjoying writing and performing poetry, inviting audiences to engage with her art in new and meaningful ways.
